Association of British Orchestras (ABO) Annual Conference
Boomerang carnets UK was a sponsor to the ABO Annual Conference that was held this year 4-6 February 2026, in London. The conference is ABO's major event of the year drawing over 300 delegates from orchestras both within the U.K. and abroad. The programme explored key themes shaping the classical music sector in workshops and sessions. The conference also enabled delegates to engage in valuable networking experiences to share knowledge and build meaningful connections with colleagues and music professionals across the classical music industry.
Grant Opportunity and Congratulations
Every year, boomerang carnets UK offers a limited number of Carnets "Play the World" Grants to support members of the ABO and the League of American Orchestras (LOAO) with delegate fees to upcoming Conferences. This year’s ABO Annual Conference was no exception. Executive directors, operations managers, general managers, and tour managers apply for this monetary award because, in many cases, they would not be able to attend due to budgetary constraints.
